Megan has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida (GO GATORS!), and that is where her love of fitness and wellness began. After graduation, she pursued several group fitness certifications: AFAA Group Fitness Instructor, BODYPUMP, Zumba, CXWorx, Yoga. Megan also specializes in seniors' range of motion classes and pre-primary physical education.
After working with large groups, Megan realized she had to go for her dream of becoming a certified personal trainer so that she could help clients on a one-on-one basis. She is an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer, who loves to tackle the challenges associated with working a client back from injury. Specializing in core strength, weight loss, endurance, and flexibility, Megan can create a well-rounded program for clients of all ages.
As a mom of two young boys (Dylan, 6 and Dalton, 3) Megan intimately understands the challenges that parenthood places on fitness. Finding time to reconnect with yourself through physical activity is not only a great stress-relief, but a valuable tool that parents can pass on to their own children. Nutrition can also be compromised by stress, familly situations, work patterns, and emotional eating. Megan gets to the root of these behaviors and assists clients in creating a new lifestyle for themselves, one that supports reasonable and healthy eating.
